How to get the header of an Email?
The email header is the information that travels with every email, containing details about the sender (including the IP address), route and receiver.
Here some help.
Outlook 98, Outlook 2000, Outlook 2003
- Double Click the message to open it in a full window
- Click on "Options" in the "View" Menu
- Now you can copy and paste everything (press Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C)
Outlook Express 4, 5 and 6
- Open the Message
- Click on the "File" menu
- Click on "Properties"
- Click the "Details" tab
- Click on "Message Source"
- Now you can copy and paste everything (press Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C)
Mozilla Thunderbird
- Open the email.
- Click in the menu on VIEW / Headers and select All.
- Now you can copy and paste the Email header
